ROTARY FOUNDATION

Members are encouraged (but not required) to donate at least $100 per year - every year to the Rotary Foundation. Our club matches a members contributions - up to $100 each year. In as little as 5 years a member can become a Paul Harris Fellow - one who has contributed at least $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation.

Our club has over 30 Paul Harris Fellows of which over 1/2 are Multiple Paul Harris Fellows (those that have contributed $2,000 or more to the Rotary Foundation).

As of March 2022, our members have contributed just under $200,000 to the Rotary Foundation.

Members donations are set aside and invested for 3 years, with 1/2 of the principal amount returned after that to the district to be used for projects submitted by the various clubs. Interest earned helps run the administration.

The Rotary Foundation is one of the most well run charitable organizations in the US.

Members are also encouraged to remember the Rotary Foundation as a benefactor through their wills.
